What You'll Need

Important: You must be in the Turks and Caicos Islands for at least two days before you can be legally married. So make a vacation of it. While you’re here, we can meet and handle all of the necessary paperwork.

The following documents are needed, in order to be married in The Turks and Caicos Islands, and they must be presented in person:

Passport
Birth Certificate
Proof of status - if single, a sworn affidavit is required. If divorced, a copy of the divorce decree is required, if widowed a death certificate is required.
If name change, proof is required.
If under the age of 21, consent of parent or guardian is required.
The parties must not be within prohibited degree of relationship to each other.
Letter stating parties’ occupations, marital status, age as of last birthday, present address of residence and fathers full name.
For church weddings, most ministers require proof of membership.

Photocopies of all original documents to be submitted with your forms. All copies of documents must be certified by a notary. Photo ID is required.
